Doesn't matter who you are,how much money you've got or what you're doing when your time's up you go.

Very sad indeed!
Is it just me or does this sort of premature death seem more prevalent amongst premiership footballers than one would expect. I can think of a number of such deaths over the past few years and given the relatively small pool of people that seems quite high. Not to mention that they (by and large) live very healthy lifestyles and have access to the very best in nutrition and medical. Are. Just seems peculiar :-\

We once had a very fit young doctor who played sport and was an ace at squash. He dropped down dead aged 30.
I once heard an "medical expert" say that everyone has a set number of heartbeats in their life, and depending on how hard they exercised they could "use up" the allocated heartbeats at a faster rate and die early. Utter tosh or wise, educated thinking? Never really been sure of that, but when i hear about sporty young men (it seems to be always men) dropping down dead, I do think about that statement. :-\ :-\
