As the wheel's have a thicker construction to the standard facelift Elite wheels, the existing plastic caps that cover the wheel bolts aren't usable (you'd never be able to get them off as they would be to recessed into the wheel), does anyone know what the correct dimensions are that I need to obtain and where from?
Can see a few options on eBay but nothing on the Irmscher site. :(

Andy
are you saying there would be no clearance around the outer between the bolt cover & the alloy of the wheel ? or that you need longer length bolt covers ?
I have short chrome covers on the bolts of the late mv6/elite alloys on my CDX. the little pulling tool that came with them works fine for retrieving the covers from the bolts when required. Even though they are further inboard than the std longer plastic covers .
I Like your new wheels . . .very smart . . . out of my price bracket sadly . . but would love to have a set :( :(

Hi Al
I have / had the standard ones on the Elite alloys but they are too short for the Sportstars as the bolt hole is deeper so they'd be too inset to be able to remove if you see what I mean.
Wheels were a case of being at the right place at the right time!
By the way, the 3.2 I bought off you is now on 172K :y

Might have some longer caps, but make no promises re number and colour :-\

a ebay search for
wheel nut cover vauxhall long
finds several more as well ... most listed a 25mm depth but a couple at 32mm
if that helps ... not sure the technical difference between "deep" and "long" but hey-ho .. :)

Cheers, looked at those earlier but wasn't sure if they were the ones, anyway, I've ordered a set for that price :y

If I can rustle one up, I shall measure it ;)

I use normal ones on Mrs TB's TBE.
Did I give you some a while back? If so, and if they fit, I have some more :y

What offset are you running J? ET30s will sit upto 8mm deeper ;)
-
ET30 8J front, 9J rear on mine.

Ah, that explains, as TBE is the correct official offset (ET38?)

ET38 is one of three options... ET30 and 33 being the other two ;)

Irmscher do state which is for Omega, others are for other applications. Although the specifics bore me, and I can't remember ;D

Actually I might be wrong ;D
I'm not going to take them off to look now!
