I don't believe in the death penalty, but when you see things like this it makes me think that we need more medieval punishments for vicious thugs like this. >:(

I didn't believe in the death penalty for a long time, but I do now. Saw the funeral of the little 6 year old girl on the news yesterday, who had been raped then murdered.
Don't give a toss if the perpetrator is only 16. Hang the ficker.
Same goes for these scum who throw acid in the face of a three year old child. >:( >:(

It just gets worse, god alone knows what goes on in some people's head , sounds to me like it could be a revenge attack linked to debt drugs etc. What ever the reason they won't be punished adequately.

Personally, I think a whole of life sentence in total solitary confinement, with gruel for food, so they know all of their life is going to consists of doing nothing, never talking to anybody, another groundhog day of gruel, toilet and sleep, apart from thinking about the regrets on their bad choices and misdeeds. :y

Apparently it costs £40000 a year to keep someone in prison. If we did the above we could significantly cut costs and bang up more wronguns! :)

Something like ten screws looking after a whole wing of spiced up knobheads who didn't have care in the world. When they wanted to do a thorough search of the cells, they had to wait for the search team, who divided themselves between about six prisons.

My initial thought was some sort of revenge for, perhaps, being dumped, or having an affair, etc.

As I understand it the attack was aimed at the childs mother for dumping the father and the child was "collateral"damage.None of which excuses in the slightest the use of acid as a means of revenge on anyone.

Also the mother was living under assumed Identity, for protection away from the father,. So either someone let her address slip, or she's been and told someone.
