Title: Saturday musings...
Post by: Doctor Gollum on 08 December 2018, 11:06:02
I was going to start with:

'Opinions and arseholes; is it OK to have both? What if you're that person?' :D

Instead I choose this:

Anyone been to see 'A Star is born'? Who else shed a tear at the dog lying down outside the garage door waiting for Jackson Maine to come back out? Is this normal? 🤔

I enjoyed the film a lot.  It certainly gave me a new perspective on Lady G.

And yes it was a bit dusty in the cinema.

She isn't my cup of tea, but theres no doubt she has talent. I haven't seen the film by the way, just came to this conclusion from previous listening and clips of the film on tv.
I remember going to see the Kristofferson / Streisand version when it first came out. Quite enjoyed it, but not sure I would still enjoy it if I watched it now.

Phew, I was worried for a moment  :)

Might watch it again next week if it's still on...

There's quite an insightful piece about her on Netflix currently... Certainly not a five minute pop pixie ;)
