Title: 12p a litre.
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 16 December 2018, 16:04:36
Having just filled the Tata with petrol I noticed it to be 12p a litre cheaper than lorry fuel. :y

Even Momentum 99 which I buy when available was 7p a litre less.

I see this as God's way of saying he made a mistake when he 'created' derv, and is now trying to put things right. :)

116p or 121p for the rocket fuel variety.

Derv was 128p.

Didn't know Tesco did a premium unleaded. At only 121p why didn't you go for that?

I did. It's called Momentum 99 and is much like Shell Vmax.....or whatever they call it.

I've heard, but can't comment, that you get a better MPG from the super stuff in a powerful car such as yours.

Well.....I use the rocket fuel stuff when I can get it and the car seems slightly quicker and faster to respond. Having said that the 'placebo effect' can be pretty powerful.

As for getting more miles from each gallon......it's hard to tell.Trip computer shows 23.6 over the last 5000 miles but I know from brim to brim tests it's a bit of a fibber. ::)

Motoring saucepot milf, VBH did a back to back test with a Golf GTi using a selection of go faster fuels... iirc, Shell V-Power came out on top both on a dyno and track.

She is quite sexy. :-* :-* :-*

I think the biggest difference to power seems to be when the outside temperature is cold.
