Following the Newent meet, me and Greg (son) plan on going on to Devon where I have my other "home" in Barnstaple as I haven't been there since New Years Eve holiday. Having spoken to my other son that lives there with my ex-missus, we came up with a plan to go straight from Newent to Europa Park in Woolacombe in North Devon and spending a few days there camping. Europa Park is an excellent campsite geared up for mostly adults although they do welcome
families, see my old post from last year for pics and details.......

Soooo, I was thinking if any of you West Country members (or anyone else that fancies it) we could have a follow up meet.
If camping under canvas isn't your cup of tea, they have some excellent log cabins for hire.
Anyone fancy meeting us there for a day or two? Oh, and the Barbie will be coming with me fresh (and stinky) from Newent. ::)

Hmm. ::)
We'll be staying in Aviemore with the kit car lot for Newent weekend. If I were on my own I'd be seeing you there. Somehow I suspect I might not get away with a 599.9 mile journey to Woolacome, and would die a horrible death if I suggested the shoe-box sized boot space were taken up by camping gear. :'(
Have a good time though. :y

Bugger!!! A bit of a fly in the ointment..........son Greg has to go in to work on the Monday/Tuesday after Newent due to an important conference meeting and as he is in first line IT support he has to be there. :( That means we're going to have to drive back to Hertfordshire on Sunday 7th and then drive to Devon on Wednesday morning, so we'll now be staying at Europa Park from Wednesday 10th until Monday 15th.
Hopefully might still see one or two of you there. :y
I think Greg might be forking out for some extra fuel! ::)

bugger just phoned to book me the misus and littlen lad in for that weekend. was advised by the very friendly and helpful man to try another site down the road as they have a lot of stag/ hen parties on at the moment so are not very family friendly this time of year. :( :( :( :( :(

If you want somewhere a little quieter, there's another large family site just down the road from Europa Park. I guess one of the reasons we chose Europa Park is because it is more adult orientated.
