Hi All,
I'm after a set of 3.0L cams and a complete car set of hydraulic lifters for a 2.5 v6 1995 CDX vintage.
I thought I might as well get a whole set, so that I can clean them and drop them all in thus keeping the downtime to a minimum and then I can clean out my old ones at leisure and replace as necesary.
Thanks in advance.

And a lower inlet manifold from a 3.0.....

Thanks for the heads up mark, are the port sizes different? how does it differ from the 2.5's?

i can sort that lot sev :y pm sent

Not wanting to sound dim, but how does replacing the cams warrant a different inlet manifold?
-
yes it does how can the cams best perform if they have the same ammount of air going in?
Fitting the lower 3.0 manifold has bigger holes in it so more air goes into the engine
-
Whe n I changed my cams to 3.0 last year I didn,t replace the lower inlet manifold.
So am I looseing out on potential performance ?
If so I am on the look out for a lower manifold aswell,if another is available.
Pm with details .
thanks

I have one here amba :y

I'm being dim here, I can see the lower inlet manifold having the bigger port size to accomodate the 3.0L engine, but what about the port sizes on the actual heads?
Would the 3.0L not have bigger inlet ports than the 2.5, meaning that the 2.5 head would still be restricted? :(

Have all parts here part from the cams ::)

Correct = porting would be needed to get any gains :y
