-
I occasionally drive my wifes car, usually to go and get parts for mine ;) It's not a vauxhall but is GM
-
What kind?
-
She has a Daewoo(Chevrolet) Matiz, excellent for round town. I always think someone has stolen half the car when I come to reverse it ;D
-
If i being honest they are ugly cars but they are meant to be nice town cars
-

It's no Chevrolet no 5.7l V8
-
It's described as mini MPV? :-? I can see that in the styling but it doesn't do the MPV bit. She loves it, so who am I to complain.
-
omega, omega, renault, rover and Kia just now :D
-
See now i love the comfort of my scorpio but it has such a crap autobox but it needs a new one now because it slipping when cold

Your right there, but it will go for a month on 5 minutes worth of gas for the V8 :)
-
I really don't understand why they called it a chevy :-?

An attempt to move the brand more upmarket, and also a chance to put the prices up ::)
-
I don't think it worked ;D
-
my other car is a Mk2 cavalier convertible, with a 2.5 V6 fitted....
Been into mk2 cavs for years now, owned loads of them
-
I don't think it worked ;D
Neither do I ;D
-

I have driven a couple of Granadas and the auto boxes are total pants - nowhere near as good as the AR25/AR35

Mine is a nice motor though goes some not as quick as meggy but not slow it has climate control cruise cotrol 2.9v6 24v cosworth engine leather heated seats 4x elec windows 6 disc cd changer in boot plus radio control stick many more to many to list really but hate the box
-
As some of you may know, my other car is a MK3 Cavalier - one of the lasy being a 1995 model. It is a 2.0 16V CDX and I have owned it for 9 years. Everything still works AC included! The Omega was meant to be a replacement, but I did not have the heart to sell it.
-
I have driven a couple one straight after a Carlton delivery and I hated it - I much prefered the Carlton. I ended up buying one quite a few years later.
The other was a loan car while the first Omega was in for repair, knackered was a fair description
-
Am i allowed to mention Volvo's
<--------------
-
Volvo 9xx and 7xx are OK 2xx is now a classic I suppose

If you are Noddy!

I occasionally drive my old mans Mazda Demio & I can’t stand it.
It’s V reg & only done 6100, but it’s gutless & there’s no room & I try to avoid it whenever I can!
-
First and by far the best is the Omega then we have an Audi 80 2.8 Quattro which is quite rare in pearl white and very quick and up for sale then the Audi replacement, a Rover 25 Diesel which we run on a diesel/vegetable mix. This is the first diesel we have owned and I am suprised just how quick it is, then we have a 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider which is a Kamm Tail and which I have been meaning to restore for the last 6 years but never got round too and this will be sold soon as well.
-
My other half has a JDM Impreza STi that I drive on a regular basis, bloody rocket!
-
I drive my wife's renault SCENIC sometimes,(usually when it needs petrol) Great for carrying things that won't go in the boot of the Omega. Absolutley terrible on the motorway, it handles like a JELLY on a paper plate. ;D
-
Apart from my 2 Omegas i sometimes drive my Dads Land Rover Disco, usually when i'm borrowing the mini-digger. 3.9ltrs of V8 pulls nearly 3t of trailer and digger without any problems, apart from the 15mpg!!!
Occasionally i drive my sisters Seat Ibiza, its now 10 years old and has under 32000 miles on the clock, shes had it from new, when it was MOTd in August it had done less than 1000 miles between MOTs!!!
Also drive my Mums 2ltr Mazda 6 estate, nice comforable fairly quick for a 2ltr but apart from that nothing out of the ordinary
*edited to add*
Sorry but V8 beats the Omega, not because of the driving experience, purely on sound and sitting still blipping the throttle and seeing the whole vehicle move ;D
Now if only i could nick the engine :)
-
The mazda 6 are nice motors quite comfy
-
this is my toy, just for fun. Mazda MX5 mk1 with all the toys, turbo, ect ect.

Tried to get my daughter to buy the MX5 but she bought an MGF (Multiple Gasket Failure) instead, after two head gasket failures in 18 months she got shut and bought an MG ZR diesel
-

Agreed, I've had it for a year now! it's a good car and I enjoy driving it but it's not in the same league as an Omega 8-)
-
Not as nice driving position or as comfy
-
Mazda 626 for me
Estate, 2 Litre, R Reg.
Its big and comfy, it will do till I find a nice meega Estate to swap it for
-
626 Were a nice set of wheels and still are if u can find a good 1
-
Citroen relay converted to 8 seater - not alot i can say about this thing.
ford focus estate - bland boring car.
Nissan micra - under powered and i have to sit with my knees each side of the wheel.
citroen c4 - strange car to drive speedo is in the middle of the dash, rev counter is in the middle of the steering wheel which does not move with the wheel, and the cruise control has two settings one which you still have to use the peddle but will only let you go as fast as the set speed, the first time i drove it someone had left it on this one i set it at 60 on single track road got to dual carriage way put my foot down and the bloody thing would not move any quicker.
have left the best to last 2.5 v6 elite
-
Mrs H has a lowered Fiat Marea 2l 20v with full body kit! Rattles your teeth over the bumps.
Real good fun. Just like a go kart.
-
I drive my Omega, my dads omega when on the road my dads merc sprinter van and my mums Ford Fiesta 1.1 (my first car)
-
Al Omegas for me.
I got one, SWMBO's got one and the banger I'm taking to Naples is one.
I also have a 24v Carlton GSI, but that's far from roadworthy and doesn't currently run due to the lack of a distributor.
-
I like the carlton GSI nice motor
-
Luckily I have a fleet of cars available to me at work and depends on the mood I am in!
'05 Ford Focus 1.9 TDCI Estate - Surprisingly quick (not like the MV6 though) and resonable handling
'02 Mercedes Vito Van - Good in a straight line but that is about it
'06 Ford Fiesta - Not my first choice but still it is very nippy
and believe it or not, an electric moped (which is clearly my favourite as performance is remarkable)
Just sold my own '99 4.0l Jeep Cherokee and '94 2.5V6 Omega CDX (leather and manual model) in order to buy my '00 MV6 and a Transit Van (though haven't bought the van yet - still shopping for one)
-
How many u need ? ;D

How about this one:-One careful owner, full mot, 13.000 genuine miles absolutely mint , bargain 4995 ;D

Only joking, i did actually manage to sell this with no mot for 400 quid
-
Today My 53reg transit had to go as i needed space :'( :'( :'(
-
Thank for the offer but I am looking for a very cheap and cheerful transit van as it will spend days sitting in laybys when I am out mountain biking. Don't want to leave the MV6 unattended!
As to my work cars, I don't pay for them and I do have to share them with other people! Well not the moped, that is for my use only
-
Whats your fave car at work gwilym ?

Whats your fave car at work gwilym ?
Actually they are all pretty dull after the MV6, however I have to say I am a fan of the Mercedes Vito.
-
Well of course nothin could beat your MV6 quite like the vito vans
