Not to mention the overweight electrical elephant in the corner...You haven't tried topping it up yet.Electrically the boxes are the same, the difference is how the engine and gearbox ecus communicate. Irrelevant as you kept your gearbox and engine ecus and looms.
Ok, so is there a way to 'blink code' the gearbox ECU to try and find out what it thinks is wrong? I've got Tech 1 but not Tech 2, and Tech1 doesn't seem to want to talk to my Gearbox ECU.
I hope nobody here at OOF is thinking of knocking one out with thoughts of Caitlyn Jenner in their mind.Only Dave
I haven't weighed it recently, but I think it's less than 5kg.I really should finish my Cessna off... Just got to hook up the flaps and ailerons, stick the wings on and charge it up.Because of my (lack of) flying skills, all my planes and racing wings are foam. My last balsa thing I flew lost an argument with a rugby post on its maiden . But cant fly any of them currently, as would need to find a field, and its hardly an essential reason to leave the house.
It will move under its own power, but weather it will fly or not is anyone's guess... technically, if it won't leave the ground, it won't need registering...
As the owner, only you need to get an operator-id (£9 pa) from the CAA, and you and anyone else who attempts to fly it needs a flyer-id (free, but needs a test to prove you can spell your name). You're operator ID covers all relevant craft you may own.
(I'm assuming its under 20kg?)
I hope you used your Kiwi deck paint...Currently sat in the sunshine in my back garden with a cup of tea, staring at the Moto X bike and thinking that I really should fix the air leak that makes it rev its tits off. I think it's the left hand crank seal, so need to sort it and sell it as I'm too old to ride it again.I gave my decking another coat of decking oil on Wednesday/Thursday and thought I'd do a bit of the fencing after that. I've given the fence three coats of looking at and am no further on.
If only I had time on my hands. Think I'll make another cuppa and stare at it for a bit longer.
