For the more dignified approach you can pick up a usable old Silver shadow for less than £10,000.
Please play nicely. No one wants to listen/read a keyboard warriors rants....
I believed its all called Italian Character.Alfa Romeo have made some beautiful looking cars over the years.Indeed, and most of them handle pretty well as well... ...when they are working
And not turned to dust.
It's why the Italians thrash their cars, because they don't have much time before they dissolve!
Part of the job is building rapport with the passengers and also seeing that sprogs are suitably strapped in... It's easy enough to call the kids cheeky little monkeys without giving colour a second thought and whilst our announcements might now be Everyone/Everybody most of us call people Sir/Madam and the crew darling...Yeah, but if I was on one of you flights, I'd be nicer to the trolley dollies that I would to you .
Absolutely every person I encounter gets treated the same unless the rapport suggests otherwise be that positive or negative... The really nice person will get treated much better than the hoighty toity arsehole regardless of how much money they spend.
S'pose that makes me sexist.
I had a look on my employer's lease portal and an xpower MG4 can be had for around £200pcm all in. I'm not sure there's a cheaper way to get from 0-60 in under 4 seconds
I just caused some embarrassment on my walk with the dog. As my wife says, I would cause an argument in a telephone box
On Grimethorpe muckstack, there are loads of lovely conifers that have been growing for about 20 years, just starting to look full and smell lovely. They're cutting them down! When I asked why, I was told they shouldn't have been planted in the first place, they are an invasive species. What about these twáțs who come over on boats? I asked. They're an invasive species, are we gonna chop their fùckin legs off?
Silence. I walked off.

Smile? I had an Alfa Romeo 166 that made me laugh out loud.Got the original bill of sale of my 2007 one £59, 837.58 I paid £7,000 for it just over 4 years ago spent & I've probably spent £3,500 on it for servicing & bringing it up to my required standard almost changed it for an SVR a few months back until I saw the insurance quote (£1400) at present i pay £340 got absolutely no intention of changing it does absolutely everything I expect from it & is superbly comfortable.
Done the same with my XJ8l. Spent a few grand on it to get it right👍👍
It makes sense if you intend keeping it, I can't justify paying £30,000+ for a more up to date vehicle when I only cover 5,000 miles a year+ it makes me smile when I drive it..👍
They are very expensive, yet they are everywhere. There are loads knocking around Barnsleywakefield, not older ones, either. How the hell so many people can afford to shell out £50,000+ for a car I'll never know.
Mind you there are plenty of Kia/Hyundai EV's too, and they are £40,000+. Wife's car, the grandland we bought in June, was £21,500, and I don't think I'd consider spending any more on a car.
Aren't JLR offering insurance to those that claim they cant get insurance, but on the understanding that they don't leave the cars unlocked, or the keys in them?
