One for AndyB...
« on: 09 November 2013, 19:35:10 »

Had suasages from the butcher with fried onions and beans...which was nice :)

Question is this... the beans were Heinz five bean ones, but what are the five beans?

I won't be awake all night worrying, but thought given Mr Bs employ, he might actually know the answer :y

I could read the tin, but that would require fishing it out of the bin, and where's the fun in that ::)

Heinz beans are too mushy for me, so we only buy them when you can get 6 tins for £1.

My family have this weird saying that I never really understood...

How many beans make 5?
2 beans
Half a bean
A bean and a half
And a bean.

I have absolutely no fraggin' idea what that is all about.  But its still 5 beanz ;D

Heinz is the only beanz. Anything else is a let down.

Ah...I see you've been duped by the power of advertising, Mr admin man. ;D ;D

Heinz beans are no better than some of the cheaper brands, and certainly inferior to Branston and HP.

Hence the reason we only buy them when they're on special. :y :y.

We have about thirty tins at present.... :)

That would explain why Heinz produce all the beans in the UK then :P

Heinz aren't the best beans. Supermarket own brands are the best. Whether that be tescos, morrisons etc

She's tried me on non Beanz beans, and is always shocked I can tell the difference. Branston and HP are tasteless, and Tesco beans are 'orrid.

Beanz or nothing.

Sorry .... only just seen the thread.

I could have told you red kidney bean, I've picked them out on the floor and a basic Heinz  haricot bean but that's it. You tend to not notice after a while  ::)
