Oxfordshire is infecting everywhere around here, so 50mph limits are the norm in these parts.  So every knob jockey drives at 35...

..or like my commute this evening. 50MPH limit with average speed cameras. The knob jockey in the Audi A5 in front insists on slowing down (from 50) to 40 MPH past each camera.

I mean, he's driving an Audi, so I obviously wasn't expecting much in the way of grey matter, but...

It’s a ploy we use. If you save 10mph going past each average speed camera, you can gun it past the last one with your bonus points and be ahead of the pack. Clever eh.   

And yes, I am aware that’s not how they work.

There's a camera on the way to Horsham that's in a 40 limit, next to a repeater sign. Twarts keep slowing to an indicated 29.1352 mph to pass it.

The realisation that a fuel pipe, between the 2 fuel rails, needs to come off.  I'm sure when I come to look at it again, it won't be so bad, but yesterday, all I could see was a shit load more stuff having to come off to remove said pipe.

This is why you should never let the yanks or the French design cars.  And a JV like this engine, well, I'm oppsed

If it had been a German design, you'd be struggling to remove the differential to allow removal of the radiator cap....

Yes well done for attempting the repairs, I gave up " tinkering" a few years back as accessibility to even spark plugs became virtually impossible.

Noticed when driving home from Northamptonshire this morning, that some of the gantry signs on the new bit of the A14 between Brampton and Cambridge, were advising to "stay in inside lane except when overtaking".
First time i'd seen that. I thought, fark it, i'll stay in middle lane just to plss them off
