Varche comes to Britain Omega spotting!

Don't see many in Spain. It is six years since visiting my folk in the Scarborough area. Arriving on Saturday in the Midlands and visiting friends in Shrewsbury and Leicester areas before travelling up North to sample some real ale + fish and chips.

If you see me in a Dark Blue V reg Ka give me a wave unless I am on your side of the road in which case swerve. I will toot any Omegas I see!! sad or excited? you decide! ;D ;D ;D

will you be bringing some sunshine with you?

a couple of days of sun here and still some of the brits temperament hasnt improved much.

Sadly no. We have had rain on and off for a week or so and another two weeks of it forecast. It quite gets one down!

lol been here a couple of weeks now, and return to spain sunday, since being here have seen quite a few but i always forget to wave or toot :o mainly cos im concentrating so hard on not driving on the right hand side of the roaf!! t junctions are the worst, its inbuilt to just turn right and not even think about it, few seconds later reality set in, get on left!!! :y

Well got here Ok. Bit of a culture shock but after a day it was like I had never been away. Can't get used to strangers not saying hello as they pass you. 

Done nearly 300 miles so far in the Ka(first time I have driven it - I don't even know if it is the 300cc or 500cc engine!). Can't get used to unlocking driver and passenger doors and boot with a key, no cruise.... And the speed cameras . Drove down the A5 to Shrewsbury. 78 miles took 2hrs and 10mins.!

Omega spotting. Not good!
First was an N reg blue CDX saloon at Malaga
second and ONLY other was parked in a layby on the A5 near Shrewsbury and still there hours later. Silver saloon reg X135... I think. Maybe the owner was fishing otr walking couldn't have been broken down although with the shocking price of petrol maybe it had run out!!

welcome to blighty and best of all your coming to YORKSHIRE,real ale and if yer want some decent fish n chips they reckon the best in that area is the magpie cafe at whitby..i cant personally vouch for it cos everytime ive been theyre queing to get in :y

Wednesday update.

Had a good night on Monday sampling the Marstons Pedigree. Marvelous stuff.

Tuesday 15th . Only 3 Omegas. V reg 154 sand colour in BQ Leic. V 594 silver on road and T160 silver at Asda Fosse park. Haven't seen a single one since despite doing another 150 miles.

Have discovered that the Ka is a 1300cc. Amazing.
