Can manage without hook up, just asking teh question, thinking Lap top mainly, rest is fine. :y
Possible generator charge or can be charged in pavillion kitchen behind locked door so safe (unless Ian nicks it)
Joking aside i'm bringing my lappy too (for some lessons) so should be fine. Guy. :y
Be aware, if you are running a lappy of a genny, the genny must have a decent regulator on it to even out the genny's power and stop spikes.
Plan was to use a 3kw inverter (hence the need for car batteries) for 240v, however the power still won’t be as smooth as 'proper' mains! I can then build a smaller generator which will charge up the car batteries! ;D (Will help keep the noise down too as the engine speed can be controlled by the power needed to charge the batteries - ie little load it will be ticking over, and at full load, it will be running at 3600rpm!) 8-)
Probably not worth the effort - I think every camper can live without leccy for a weekend, esp as there is leccy available inside for emergency phone charging etc.

You haven't met me then yet  ;D

If a laptop is not within 3 meters from me, I will shutdown!

Spoken to Ian & this meet is confirmed & site booked for the 1st to the 4th of May @ Rufforth playing fields on the B1224 just to the west of York off the ring road (A1237/A64) Prices start @ £10 per night but go down quickly as more folk join, last year cost me about £8 for the weekend so it's good value given the inclusive facilities. Caravans, children even doggies are welcome. There'll be a BBQ (if you can bring a few bits it would help) curry & rice...on me as has become OOF tradition :P
Full use of pavilion inc. kitchen, microwave, phone & lappy charging, showers etc. Hook up availiable but you will be on the hardstanding away from us.
Being a numpty i can't so could some one start a confirmed attendee list that others can add to please? As far as i know money can be paid on arrival. Work on cars is also fine.
Lastly sorry to those who are unable to attend but expressed an interest earlier. You will be missed & missing a cracking meet.

Yes mate. In the pavillion kitchen. You may need to be supervised though as you have to walk through the bar to get there!!!! :D
