If its like the 1980s red that fades, all products that bring it back to red from that white-ish colour it goes are temporary.
Nice to know I can temporarily turn it red if I need to trade it though. But temporary with the products you've seen/used, might not be so temporary with more modern stuff. The reviews are very good.

A good polish and ceramic coat might just do the job.

If you're bored, you could wet sand it first.

Fingers crossed  :y.  But it seemed the problem was inherent to the paint, and *anything* was temporary, as it reacted to the sunlight.  But that was 1980s, so would like to think that problem was long since solved :).  It certainly put me off having non metallic mid red cars ever since, though!

Tried in vain to find the cause of the brake pad wear light being on in the Boxster.
Unplugged each sensor in turn and checked for continuity and they were all fine. Not sure what to do next apart from take the bulb out.  ::)
Gave it a wash to make myself feel like I had achieved something.  ::) ;D
Might get the vac out shortly and give the inside a treat as well.

Driven it back from Devon today with the tin tent, can't believe how little traffic on the roads could it all be because of " the cost of living crisis?" Quickest trip back I've ever had.

Four tyres on the Alabama Mumsybus.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Assym 3s lasted well. 22k miles evenly worn down to the bars. Not too shabby given the weight of the thing.  8)

Nice! How are you getting on with it?

I think my yank tank has the same engine/box combination and I really like it, promotes a very relaxed driving style  ;D

It's got the 7 speed in it, so pretty effortless. A little laggy pulling out from a dead stop, but pulls hard from about 1,500 rpm. Surprisingly nimble too 8)

It's a left field choice, but if you need a big load lugger but don't want a van, it's pretty hard to beat imho ;)

Agreed, it and the GL were on the list to consolidate down to two cars and ditch the zafira, but in the end I couldn't live with the pre facelift front end and the newer ones were beyond what I wanted to spend. Very comfy things though!

Tbh I was surprised by the 'box in mine, it's very smooth on the changes despite it being the older 5 speed and being on 15yr old oil  :o. Diff and gearbox oil are both on the shortlist of jobs.

I seem to remember you did gearbox oil and diff on yours? Where did you go for the fluids & filter for the 'box?
