checked round the filter all seems to be ok cant see anything out of place

Either put a jumper from ECU pin 3 to pin 2 or remove the fuel pump relay and bridge the two contacts with a short wire link with two spade connectors attached and get someone to crank engine while you listen for the pump. Failing that, apply 12v direct to the pump

ive ordered a crank sensor as people are telling me that it could be the problem .as someone a friend knows had the same problem and he changed the sensor so just got to wait for it to arrive in stock . i shall do as you say and try that .

 if not think it be towed to main deeler im affraid or scrap . as really doing me head in

Forget the crank sensor, you haven`t got a code for it and on the 2.2 a failed C/S will always throw a 0335. Put 12v direct to the pump. If it doesn`t run the pump is knackered. I`ve got a working one here if it`s donald

do u know which wires are the earth and live as got full tank of fuel .
