estate rear wiper
« on: 23 January 2011, 17:01:16 »

The rear wiper on my estate seems to have a mind of its own when switched on, it does about two thirds of a wipe then stops. then it will finish that wipe and come back about half way and so on. I assume its either no permanent supply to the motor thats the cause??? i have looked in the boot lid and there is two wires on a plug (earth seperate and ok) a blue one and a purple with black tracer. when i unplug the motor i have permanent +12v on one wire and nothing on the other. (i would expect a pulse of 12v from the relay here). If i plug the motor back in there is no permanent +12v any more when switched on  but i get a pulse on both wires??? have i a duff motor, relay, fuse or wiring??? many thanks. :-/
