I'll post a picture.

Nothing to do with unhinged 'bunny boilers' this time. :)

Lenovo laptop.

6 months out of warranty.....but with what I believe to be a manufacturing defect or design fault that is well known and documented.

I seem to remember Martin Lewis commenting on free repair or replacement after the warranty period has ended.

Lenovo are offering a 'billable repair' which will probably cost more than a new laptop.

Oooooh nicer smoky burn outs then!!

Not really at £250 a corner for the tyres!
I wish I could get away with only £250 each

Wanli Ditchfinders could save you £200 a corner. >:D

On a broader front, I wonder if the tide is turning on these woke lefty types? ???   :-\

We've seen Jacinda Ardern in New Zealand resign, then Wee Kranky went, and now Verruca. Who's next?  Canada's Trudeau?  ???

Looks like he wanted to change the wording of the constitution so as to be more gender neutral and inclusive.

Apparently words such as family, mother, and woman are outdated and offensive to some in 2024. ::)

But fortunately the Irish people told him to go f*uck himself

I think his defeat in the recent referendum has something to do with it.

I have to say I was never a fan of the chief Irish mincer. :)

On the upside, Tesco Pay at Pump is now £120 :y

The upside would be pay at pump is £20 because you can fill a 20 gallon tank for £20. :)

Pay in Kiosk, Pay at Pump, this all sounds very complicated. In our neighbouring village garage we still have a man/woman that comes out and fills up for you. Their fuel is always cheaper than anywhere else as well.
How old school is that.  :y

A salute and cheery wave as you depart. ;)

Looks like the link has been taken down, did anyone screenshot it?

I’ve not had chance to read it, but I suspect it’s just another flavour of the month by the woke, appeasing pen pushing bosses that seem to infest the police and all other public services.

Just like every male cop was a rapist and predator since one bad apple (Wayne couzens) was found in the barrel. Cue then huge campaigns shouting about “violence against women and girls” and “male violence” etc.

What they didn’t tell you is that something like 98% of women who said they had “felt intimidated by a male in public” actually only felt that way because a “man had come too close in the street”. Think of central London / tube network etc.

They skew all figures to suit whatever the flavour of the month is to make themselves look good. That’s why forces can afford rainbow cars and to dance at gay pride but at the cost of no longer attending domestic house burglaries or many frauds.

Believe it or not, most cops on the ground (uniform and detectives) try their damndest, but this woke rot which is ravaging through management is turning most forces into a laughing stock.

Snogging cops while on duty at a pride march.

Apparently this is 'progressive'. ::)

It is The LC colour, nearest I'll get to one at the prices they are now,  It was purchased for a bit less than advertised, It's on a 63 plate, the only thing I think it wasn't speccd with is heated steering wheel,, Would have liked the full fat VXR but the Tax on them is Stupid, did look at one, it was red so that's a no instantly,.
Biggest issue I've found is Traders who can't be arsed, not tuning up, thinking that everyone is a bit dim,and you point out faults with the car that are looking you in face, obvious ones and they get very defensive, looked at one rear beam heavily corroded to excess,  needed discs,, Wouldn't discount price, and said it's fine,,,   Too

Took a while to find this one, but we have it all locked up.☺️
Try to get some pics up at weekend.

Sounds like a good buy, BG. :y

You won't miss the heated steering wheel if you grew up with ice on the inside of the windows like I did. ;)

In order to get the heated wheel and keyless entry on my car I would have needed to find an extra £800+ for the comfort pack. Needless to say I didn't tick that box.

Does that provide comfort for the car thieves?  ;D

I hear that cars with keyless entry are easier to nick. :)
Yes.....but....on the wife's grandland, if you press the key to lock it, you need to press the key to open it again. Keyless entry doesn't work until you lock the car that way again. I hope that is also the case on more expensive models. If not, why not?

Do you keep your keys in a Faraday cage?......supposedly this will stop thieving scum from nicking your car without the need for keys.

So glad to read that my 29.17p pkwh, plus 62.11p per day standing charge Octopus electricity tariff subsidises EV owners who enjoy a 7.5p pkwh tariff to charge their milk floats!  ::)

Roughly £56 a quarter even if you don't use much electricity. >:(
