McD
« on: 04 November 2021, 13:54:58 »

Kept seeing the ad for the double Big Mac.

So after the MOT decided to try one.  £5.99 as a meal.

Cooked fresh.  No where near the thickness of a Big Mac years ago, less salad and the 4 burgers weaighed about the combined weight of a 1/4 pounded.

TOTAL WASTE of my money.

Looks good on the TV ad, haven't had one for years & after your observations shan't be bothering to try one 👍

Mrs Opti makes her own burgers.

She will buy a lump of quality beef like rump or sirloin cut off any visible fat and then put it through her electric mincer.

Add a touch of salt and pepper to season......and onion if required. :y

Doesn't repeat either.  :)

That would be a significant improvement on the reconstituted cardboard they currently sell. ::)

Thought you had scullery maid for that kind of thing.
Mrs Mig does similar when we have burgers and they are delicious.  :)

Pork pie is the best for ' unspecified meat product'

It probably best we don't know exactly which 'body parts' go into them.

The same applies to 'Gristlers' pasty.
