Should be good for the UK economy. Hopefully We will be in England during all the celebrations. Is armed forces day early June too?

We often do a street party in our road.  The last one was V-J Day anniversary about a year and a half ago, socially distanced of course - we all got chairs out, but sat outside our houses rather than group up.

Hopefully we can have a similar party for this anniversary, and hopefully, if people use an element of common sense between now and then, it can be a little less socially distanced.

Its a great way to reacquaint yourself with other residents who you perhaps do not speak to at length that often normally

According to my Dad, we are direct descendants of the Lord Chief Justice who ordered the first Charlie to be beheaded. Based only on the fact we have the same surname. 
I therefore think it should be my place to do the deed on the third one in the future. 
In the meantime, I will volunteer to practice on every living PM. 
All but one of them in my lifetime deserved it, and she is no longer with us, so lets get rid of those who are still here.

The deal we currently have is messy, and will have to be changed one way or another. The bastard threw Norn Irn under the bus (apart from other issues) after telling the DUP conference less than a year earlier that he would never do such a thing under any circumstances.
It still remains though, that he did take us out, after spineless May sat in a paralysed Parliament for over two years twiddling her thumbs.
He should have been brave enough to walk away without a deal though.

I have never voted Tory in my life, but I did join the party for a year, so I could vote to get rid of May and have a vote on who her replacement would be.
I voted for Boris, and out of the possible choices, I dont regret it.
