Question really is, why would you clean an oil cooler? Presumably a failed one covered in Mayo and crap?

I wonder if Anthony is talking about the used oil cooler he sourced from Ebay.

I hope not. :-\

Just arrived this morning...haven't opened it yet. I did ask for pics before I bought and it's clear and no sludge. Just clean oil. I'll put the pics up later after work.

Do a used oil cooler? If you have means to pressure test it first I would do so.

Otherwise, just wack it in. :)

Before you do anything, remove the plate from the cooler to make sure the threads don't strip on the cooler.......as they do sometimes.....and if it does, your buggered.

Hey thanks for the comment/tip but:
1. are you referring to the old one or the new one?
2. "don't strip" ....Meaning the threads smooth out?

Cheers
