i should know this

i got a headlight taillight warning on my mid,. i changed the dead bulb but the warning is still in the display how do i clear it ?? anybody know?

Fix the blown bulb ;)

(there will be another blown one - remember 2 tail lights per side)

Poor bulbs can also cause this...

yup - i persistently got this message up when all the bulbs were lit and it was one poor bulb causing it.

yup i just went outside to check and all the lights were working but on further investigation i found one that i thought was alright was breaking up inside.thanks guys....p.s. (the boy) last week you gave me details on tech2 i wrote everything down and took it to the mechanic in my work. just as well because he admited that he did not have a clue. anyway following youre advise my new mid is now reading the correct range. (saving me sixty quid)thanx again ..next time i see you in the pub ill buy you a glass of lemonade...

Had the side and tail light warning or something like that come up on my MID the bulb came on when I tapped the rear light cluster so adjusted the contacts and cleaned some of the crap off and hey presto the bulb works fine and doesn't flicker when you tap the cluster. Jobs a goodun  :)
