So my pfl omega 2,5 v6 manual has developed a nice shake that shows up only when wet. It is connected to engine speed so not any drivetrain issue Thought of the DMF but the fact that it shakes mainly only at wet conditions got me overwhelmed  Said shake also dissappears when taking sharp turn to left.

So as the headline says I just had one of my Gyro Gearloose -moments. As my new engine has no heater but i have defa-loom in engine bay and heat exchanger circuit by-passed the HE just sits idle there and i thought that coolant pool in the middle of engine would be a good place for a heater unit. Question is that is there any reason why this couldn't be done if it's done properly?

So the question is that is there any options like super/powerflex or BMW/Cadillac bushes for mig's rear subframe? Going to replace them anyways soon so an "premium" option would be nice

Just a quick question; Are bosch abs-boxes 1273004206 and 0273004206 interchangeable and what is the difference between those two?

So, i'm getting fault code 13 (motronic 28.1.) o2 sensor 1 open circuit, question is that can a weak spark cause so much unburned fuel to push to exhaust that lambda simply "gives up" because it's trim range cannot correct the mixture enough and it just throws itself to open. Thought that it's the weak spark since lambda works fine without fault codes when revving when idle but when i start to accelerate from ~2000 rpm with fourth gear it throws up EML and code 13. No other codes are shown and the lambdas were checked just yesterday that they were operative. Values varied between 350-450mV on o2 sensor 2 and 300-600mV on the o2 sensor 1 when idling. Am I even close on my diagnosis or do i have f00ked DIS pack AND lambda?

So, while disassemblimg my car (swapping 95' engine to the 98' mini-facelift mig's x25xe) i noticed that the ECUs had different part numbers and also the coil is different in my old engine. Is the ECU number just because the newer car was originally AT and had the chip-transponder immobilizer? Can I fit the new engine to my car with reasonable effort or do I just put it back together? I'm going to use the old engine's loom and ECU and maybe coil..

Hi, I'm havin my second omega now so decided to register here since my love for Omegas seems to last even in the middle of all these oil leaks and other 'features' this one and a half ton piece of (rusty) awesomeness has to offer   

Currently I'm driving 2,5 v6 sedan with stick shift, not as reliable as my old c20ne-ar25 Omega A (Vaux Carlton) but it runs and moves so who am I to complain

Because of leaking heat exchanger/head gasket, slipping clutch and the running sound of an old Transit the first project for my Omega is to swap the engine/gearbox set from a crashed Omega. (Or maybe just swap body parts and new cooler from my car if damages aren't as bad as I've been told.) Might post pictures here if people are interested!


So, about myself. I'm 21 years old guy and live in small town in southwestern Finland with my gf, her daughter and our two cats. Studying to be a truck driver and will graduate next year! Got a thing for 4/Rwd opels/vauxies, especially for omegas. If anyone has some must-know v6 engine/trany swap tricks please share your knowledge since this is my first bigger job with the engine. (Did full sealing operation for my old ar25, twice... so transmission is pretty familiar to me). Looking forward to see what this forum has to offer!
