Title: low beam fld vision

My headlights have decided to start pointing at the ground. Got a mechanic who comes into work once a week to plug the car in to diagnose the problem and he just sent me https://postimg.cc/gallery/25x5w24hw/]

check the level sensor on the N/S/F wishbone
the arm may have popped off the nipple or the sensor arm is out
very common problem , do a search  ;)

Also one on NSR suspension arm, but front is most likely as it's more exposed.

Cabletie around the arm is the most efficient fix if the sensor is otherwise ok :y

Had front wheel off and the front and rear one is fine and connected.

I thought tech 2 would be able to tell me sensor or servo. Don't understand any of this.

Got a second hand front and rear sensors on the way. Vauxhall wanted £208 in Wales and Luton can order it for me at £206+vat.

Tech2 can diagnose these errors with ease.

However, the Autel hasn't done a bad job, and suspect it could do more if the operator knew how to use it.  But its clearly highlighting the left servo motor isn't responding as the ECU expects.

Tech2 can diagnose these errors with ease.

However, the Autel hasn't done a bad job, and suspect it could do more if the operator knew how to use it.  But its clearly highlighting the left servo motor isn't responding as the ECU expects.
I’ll replace the n/s servo at the weekend and see if it works, thanks.

Had front wheel off and the front and rear one is fine and connected.

They can look fine and be connected but if they have seized solid on the ball joint, they wont move properly with the suspension as intended and may then throw up the Low Field Vision message.

I still haven't changed the servo yet as it rained all weekend, but I will also check again the sensors. I'll disconnect the ball joints and see if the arms move freely. I would of thought if the sensors was seized the arm would snap off the ball joints as the suspension moved up and down?

DON'T POP THE ARMS OFF.

They can be checked for free movement by simply twisting the connecting rod slightly side to side  :y if they are a bit stiff, then some 3 in 1 oil can be worked in to the ball joints.

Once you start popping them off, they'll keep popping off ;)

Just changed the n/s servo and still the same, so checked sensors again and rear sensor ball joints are seized solid. Tried freeing them off with WD40 but no joy. Will take rear wheel off tomorrow and try again.
