Title: 58 Reg Ford Focus Radio Removal

Need to get the radio out to check the serial number as he needs the code......see other thread......

Anyway as it is a late model he has been told it will take a Ford Dealer 3 hours, ie £60 just to access the radio and replace + £10 to recode, can this be right?............ :-\ :-\

Wow real easy to do , if its the same why 3 hrs to do at fords  ::)

Just showed Master Vamps that video.......... :y
His first plan is to ring the original supplying dealer, as I suggested, to see if they had a record as they were very naughty in not filling the car pass in in the first place.... :)

just a quickie on this... that stereo is a sony in the video. i presume the original stereo isnt sony - wondering if it will still work?  :-\

Ok. Until I have had a look myself I will refrain from ringing the Ford Dealer and accuse them of trying to rip off a young kid who does not know any better..... :D

Panic not Vamps :y Sony supply Ford with their stereos :y

The three hours is probably to watch the Youtube clips over and over so that they can't screw it up ;D
