All about Mamma Mia 2 film trailer and we don't want to be a spoiler for TB and Mrs TB when they go hand-in-hand to watch the full film at the cinema. ::) ::) ::)

FFS, I have that pesky DTM bloke hounding me on another forum about it as well >:(

I have started a crowdfunding in order to buy TB and his wife tickets to the premiere.

I had genuinely never watched any of the aforementioned film but whilst channel hopping the other day I saw Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep so I paused to see what film it was. As soon as they started to sing talk that was enough for me, I had to get off that channel.
What a load of shite. Any film with sing talking or flying people is a no no for me. Can't see what he sees in it personally, or have I misunderstood. :)

And opera . . . . .
Great songs and music, but the whole idea of people in fancy costumes singing at each other in Italian just seems bonkers

If you don't understand musicals, opera, fringe theater, I'm sure there is a sensitive admin or two, Barnsley whippet owner or Lincoln Lord who would be only too happy to explain all the finer points. :-X :-X :P ::) ::) ::)
Allegedly, STEMO likes nothing more than to be in a Tutu as part of the local prison entertainment for big Winston. :P :P :P :o :o :o

and French, and English, and German, and........... ;)
I must admit I like a bit of culture. The wife and I must go to at least 4-5 events a year of either ballet, opera or philharmonics. We recently went to the Guy Barker Big Band Christmas at the RAH and it was fantastic. That said I still go to select raves (when I like the DJ) and the missus recently went to see Lady Gaga in Houston so we aren't exactly culture snobs either ;D
I do like jesting TB on his hatred of ABBA but I must admit he has a point, their music is sh!te.

I'm actually not adverse to a bit of ABBA . . . . .

On a scale of 1-10, with Rebecca Black at a pretty safe 5, ABBA are easily a 7... ;)
I should probably mention that I would put RB above the Beatles, Oasis and Ed Sheehan. :-X

.....
Neither am I. :y I like music, I like films, but just not together. ;D

As a west end show, Mamma Mia! was tolerable. As a film...
As for the music itself, well, it was the 1970s ;D

Particularly Anni-Frid ! ::)
