ECP have these:

https://www.eurocarparts.com/wiper-blades

Enter SAVE33 and you’ll get them for less than a tenner. Bosch.

I know, John, and I wasn’t trying to say yours would be no good. I’d just rather pay a couple of quid more for Bosch.

My current blades (genuine GM iirc) are screechy as hell and drive me fickin mad, so I might just give the Lidl ones a try.
For the sake of a fiver, why not ?  :)

I've bought the really cheap shite Blades from ECP when theve had a Sale, think it worked out at something like 1.50 per blade when funds were a bit low, and to my surprise they worked and sounded perfectly.

each to his own,we are talking bangernomics here.don't see the point in paying 3x the price for a "premium brand" on an omega worth nowt.

I see your point, Annihilator, but surely it isn't the value of the car that determines your choice of wiper, but its perfomance/effectiveness?

of course it is if they do the same job and it's also why I own a £50 android phone and not a megabucks Iphone or high end Samsung s8 etc.

I now use the cheap aero blades off eBay on everything as I find they work at least as well as expensive branded original types. I replace them as soon as the performance drops off, which is between 2 and 3 years.

I've used those for the last two replacements, but they are getting dearer now. Initially they were under £5 a pair, then just over £8. By the time these need replacing they will go over £10, if they haven't already.
Ah well, did I really expect them to stay the same price?

I bought some for the estate a couple of months ago; they were about £7 for all three.

Generally ECP are expensive IME. With the big offers, invariably they bump the price up.

Think I paid about £17 for Bosch aero for the Shag a few months back (Halfords trade iirc) and about £25 for same for TBE from CP4L/ESP (was ordering (shit) screenwash from them anyway).
