Got a little bit coming down here, not heavy enough to settle though.

Being snowing all over the place, while I've been about my business today, just stopped here in Luton,. Off to Warwickshire soon.

Snowing here in Newcastle , weather forecast says a change for this week , much milder :y
-
If it keeps coming & settles, I may get snowed in - & won't be able to get to work tomorrow :o ;D ;D

We had a bit this morning down in Hampshire, not enough to stick properly for more than an hour. I suspect that this resulted in general panic, a ritual emptying of the supermarkets and people driving down the middle of a dual carriage way at 30mph.
-
Why do people panic so? I took a soft broom to the car, all over (NO igloo!), and drove to Morrisons, no problem - driving according to the conditions. :y
Ron.

Well we had the snow then some rain which washed it away again,so all back to "normality" now.
-
Hey ho! Guess I'm gonna have to go to work tomorrow then :(
-
Well, that sudden cold snap must have brought on a dose of man-flu, surely?
My advice for tomorrow is to go to bed under a trained nurse..... :y :y :y

Had a pile of it up here in kilt land, well over a foot in some area, was on m74 friday night, hit black ice at about 70, me thinking oh they will have gritted it, nup, managed to gently let car slow down freewheeling so it never spun. Ended up in 20mph convoy of trucks, with the usual audi swooshing by as always, oblivious to the danger, couple of cars spun out and 18 wheeler jacked into barrier. Really sharpend up my snow driving skills the last couple of days!

Many around here panic when they see a single snowflake. I miss the resilience of fellow northerners in these times.

Could be worse for Kevin and Tracey's morning commutes.
