« on: 20 January 2021, 17:03:30 »
A series of rambling soundbites that make absolutely sod all sense.

I would stop watching, but there's always a chance that someone will put him out of his misery...  :-\

One thing that really grips my shit, is having to subscribe in order to view articles, or in the case of the Grandiad, 'paying to help fund their cause'  >:(

I only clicked the link to read the article on the off chance it might be informative... And they wonder why subscription rates are dropping off a cliff ::)

The Guardian has described these new TV channels as 'explicitly right wing' which is quite measured for them, as they usually jump in with the far right smears.  ::)
Does anyone else find it odd that the only people who have an issue with freedom of speech/expression is the Left :-\

It's under the windscreen scuttle panel. There are guides on here about it.

However, I'm not convinced that is your fault.
No it's not ;D

It's under the blower motor behind the glove box.

There's a guide ;)

It's the half the connection between the engine loom and the body. The other half is the top plug on the ecu, plus a fly lead to the battery ;)

ABS is in the body loom iirc :-\

How very philanthropic of you. £34 million for personal use?

I rest my case :-X

Personally speaking, I would buy a handful of nice, but not flashy properties in places that I would like to spend time, a small fund for my cousins little girl, a couple of million in a pension pot.

And then set up a non profit for the remaining £40 million or so.

I take your point TB, but you're ignoring the fact that between the hole, the non working aircon, the time of year and lack of meaningful use all conspire to add more moisture in the car for longer than might have reasonably been allowed for.

I would wager that once the temperature starts to rise into spring it will be working fine :y

The Mercs weakness is that the front fuse boxes are open to the front footwells, and if the righthand one isn't closed properly, then water drains straight down the loom and if parked up hill, allows water to flow all the way to the rear fusebox/SAM. RHD are better because the cabin intake only floods the passenger side, so it only kills a couple of modules and one of the Canbus nodes  ;D

It might be a bit late for that...  :D

They're trying to, but new people are popping out faster than the Chinese virus* can get rid of them...  ::)

*it's called the Chinese virus because it comes from China :D

The shortage is because the manufacturers cut production and consequently cut back supply order... The delays are self inflicted because it takes suppliers time to ramp up production.

Presumably they buy tightly regulated and controlled chips rather than the £500 container job lots that they foist upon the retail market as 'genuine' copies ::)

Not that that would make for a good headline :-X
You read the news report then.  ;D
I gave up after the fourth paragraph once it was clear that it bore limited relation to the header ;D
