Omega General Help / Putting a 3.2 into a 2.6 - worth it?
« on: 10 August 2008, 23:16:56 »
How do. Part of my long-term plan for my 2.6 manual, is to drop a 3.2 engine in... if it's worth it. Is there a significant performance increase? And how much part-swapping is involved?
I'd buy a proper 3.2, but I couldn't bear to get rid of my baby... plus I couldn't do without the manual box, and the proper MV6 interior (as opposed to plod-spec).
If I went ahead, my intention would be to get the engine rebuilt before dropping it in... and probably getting the bodywork done and painted while I'm at it...
