Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Disable passenger airbag?
« on: 05 August 2017, 14:16:21 »
When I had a backward facing car seat and a front airbag, I had the seat in the fully back postion so there was less chance of the bag making full contact with the seat, after seeing the airbags deploy in my old astra I had an idea of the position in which it will not make much contact

Chrome is ok but I stopped using it for some reason some time ago.

Just started using IE like the good old days and dont bother with any other, always uncheck the chrome adware when installing drivers

I will probably remember in a week why I stopped using it too   :D

That looks like it puts stress on the hinges more than the struts do when closed

Could be an idea to try though

It would be a handy feature, to give an assisted lift if your hands are full

Not to hijack but Is there a way to get the lid to swing open like a merc?

Or is that down to them having springs?
Is there enough space to get a slightly fatter strut for more power?

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Booster Pack
« on: 02 August 2017, 16:58:47 »
I had a good booster pack (3000 something or other) till swmbo rested it on the rocker cover of the astra and started the engine, it just dropped to the floor, broken panel cover both croc clips smashed
But as with the 6 million dollar man I rebuilt it and its still going.

Be careful with the solar panal on the dash, some berk took my dads one he left on the passenger seat and left my dad with a borked window and the cig lighter charger still in place
