What about wrapping the splines with the mrs marrigold and clamping it with a vicegrip then while holding it use another grip to undo the thread?

Providing you have more than one caveman grip  :D

Not on a v6 but when my alt failed a couple months back, my speedo flashed like a christmas tree and to top it off the battery light had blown so I was non the wiser

Youll need a shorter belt unless you can get a vice grip on it and twist it out

For the brake banjo there are 2 types, copper and aluminium.

they are just flat washers, they get imprinted once they have been used (concentric rings)

similar to the washer you find on the sump plug but dont get wrecked half as much

If the auto has been converted to manual then the gearbox ecu must still be connected (something to do with the inhibitor switch)

But the auto engine ecu should be ok with a manual box
