40 mins isn't really long enough for the system to shut down.

Good lord.. how slow is the system and what does it have to do that takes 40 mins!? :o Even my tiny Atom powered NASs with all the stuff they're lumbered with, or the little AMD N36L system can spin down in less than five..
Make him a brew, run his bath, feed Mrs TB's pussy and burn her off a Mama Mia DVD for the downtime. ;D ;D

Your perversions are spoiling my rant.
So is the fitter arriving in 30minutes. I was mobile an hour after ringing the office
Not a repeat of last Friday then ;D you should be back home by midnight :y

And it's an FSO/Polski Fiat contraption, and sadly in the UK as it's clearly righthand drive :-\

Shudder, Father had one of those. The steering wheel literally came off in his hand. The spokes had snapped off the hub, luckily he was only pottering round the streets at the time.

I'd be interested to see how well (or not) my R Class did 'off road'  ....... obviously tyres play a huge part & I only have road tyres on it ..... but it does have plenty of ground clearance.  :y
You drive it round Bolton don't you? The state the council leave the roads in it's pretty much the same as green laning.

Too true ....... and if I miss a pot hole in Bolton, I'm sure that there'll be one in Bury I'll get!  >:(
We've more than enough to go round mate, plus Bolton it the home of the speed bump on a speed bump just in case the first didn't cause enough suspension damage.

Asking the faulty windows brigade if they could reputty the fronts or fit double glazing tends to tie em in a knot.

Trafford Centre isn't a million miles from the airport, not a huge detour from the M6, full of cafe/eateries and you certainly can't miss it from the M60.

Bit of a reg edit and it's even working on my old netbook.
Only had it running for a couple of hours but it seems fine on this little Atom with 2 gig of ram.
