That reminds me... though Lord alone knows why ::)

Entschuldigung, wie komme ich am besten zum bahnhof?

Können Sie bitte mehr langsam Spranchen?  ;D

I used to enjoy French and German at school, even took both for A level, but half the course was literature based, and the second I'm required to be subjective about summat my brain ceases to function :-[

The only two GCSEs I flunked were English Literature and Language, yet my best grades were French and German. However at A level subjective analysis, or lack thereof with regard to literature meant I failed German, and barely blagged a grade in French :-[ Did rather enjoy the origins of words and how they changed over the years

There was a massive chasm between GCSE and A level, so Mr Goves' latest suggestions to toughen up certain GCSEs is no bad thing imho :-\
