Had a few soot chuckers in my time, including a non turbo diesel back in the early 90s. And obviously have had the Battlebus for 2 or 3 years now (first diesel since Project Tractor - I'd forgotten, when I got the Battlebus, how horrible diesel is, stinky, stinky 'orrible stuff).  So think I'll manage.

Filled it last night and reset trips, and drove back 25ish miles. Sub 30mpg.  So gonna have to get used to higher fuel costs

Dusty? He's a he. Rescue cat, so history unknown, believed to now be about 3-4yrs old, BSH/British Blue.  We also have his suspected mother, Dinky, 4-5yrs old, BSH/Tuxedo, from same rescue place (they didn't want to be separated).

Remember TB either has a throttle setting of: ON or OFF

Thought you may have gone XF-S, but guessing like me you found the boot too small.

Boot is of no interest to me.  I know I've opened it, mainly to check spare wheel, but couldn't tell you how big it is, as I couldn't care less.  Suspect less usable than a non LPG (non Elite) Omega.

If I need to lug something, I use the Battlebus.


Deciding factor was, giving my well publicised requirements, it was the one with the least compromises over a 19yr old Omega.  Even if it has got a marmaite arse on it.
