Spec Level
« on: 03 April 2007, 12:54:10 »

I have been reading this http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1162323406

Not sure what to make of mine, basic spec when i got the car was CD level.

My car is supposed to be a 97 P Reg Omega but the list below gives me the impression mine is just a rebadged GLS, I think the only thing I have is the New style plastic fuel hoses fitted although even that I shall be confirming ASAP.

Model Year 1997
Height adjustable steering column added
Side airbags introduced
New style plastic fuel hoses fitted
Steering wheel remote control function added

Im guessing the later batch in 97 got the extra goodies

Whats the thoughts I know this is just a guide but makes you think.

I guess, I would have got an elite back when I got my current car but the insurance would have been silly money, probably still would be. Still my car isn't too bad at the moment

Side airbags, steering wheel audio, adjustable steering column all came in mini facelift (MY98, though available from late 97).

But besides, those features are added across the range, so it makes little difference if it was GLS/CD/Whatever....

What is the last letter in your VIN?

Never thought about it like that.

I shall see about getting the last letter next time I'm out with the car and will post up asap.

Does the last letter give you some idea of what it should have or something.
