A very big thanks to P6UL K
« on: 26 March 2011, 21:32:44 »

Paul gave up his Saturday to drive me in his Transit with a trailer on the back from his place in Dartford to Hailsham East Sussex to collect project Elite (or it might be project dismantle ?)
He then drove me from Hailsham back to his place to collect my own car and then followed me home with the Elite hitched on the back of his Transit all the way to my place in the sticks in North Essex. Over 200 miles all in.
Theres not many forums where people do that kind of thing for each other, it is truely humbling., especially when it comes from someone who you have previously only met for about 5 minutes.
Thanks Paul, and if you ever need a favour...... :y
Btw, the brakes on that Transit, are they Brembo 6 pot calipers or similar ? they were phenomenal. ::) :-X ;D ;D

What makes it all the more praiseworthy is that Paul had been very busy with work last week. He had only got back from Manchestern the night before afaik. I was also on a run of 6 nightshifts and nipped down to Hailsham in between shifts. ;)

We must remember that most people are nice :y :y  we just hear so much, every where we go, about the troublesome folk :( :(  Good news / stories rarely grab any attention, we undersell the human race.. :(
