So day one for big rod....the big off....always interesting and something of a scramble to get to the toll road and away.

Now in Sarnen, the first stop over.

The car has performed faultlessly over the 530 miles and not missed a beat.

The computer however is one bleep away from being launched from the car at high speed (what do you expect...it runs software!)

The Satnav sent them down a road that had not yet been finished and a few turns were also missed resulting in driving around in circles and even going the exact wrong way for a while but soon managed to ge back on route.

Now its down to the evenings work....drinking!
