Fiat IDEA Light Issue
« on: 29 December 2011, 20:17:57 »

I have the use of my aunts 04 plate Fiat Idea (thats if anyone knows what one is ::)) whilst she is away until the end of Jan. Just using it if i need to nip in to town ect.

Problem is the dipped beam comes on when you start the car for no reason and she has asked me to get it booked in to have it looked at whilst she is away.

So before i do that, any ideas? It doesn't have any daytime running feature and if you put the sidelights on the dipped beam still remains on no matter what position its in.

It sounds like the stalk is knackered to me but would be good to have an idea 'excuse the pun' before some garage tells me duff information.

Cheers
