Yes cruelty abounds here. Just one story. A Spanish neighbour said how awful and cruel it was that we had our cat and dog sterilised. It takes away their right to have young. Their answer to excess births is to put the kittens or pups in a sack and then repeatedly hit the sack against a wall till no more sounds emit. The same family have an endless succession of small dogs that never got older than two as they lose their adorableness.

PS give us a heads up when you are going to switch this wall of white noise sound on. Maybe the dogs here will shut up too.

I have been looking at similar to get rid of the real vermin, cats!  :y

We have a dog for that... The cats get just enough of a headstart to prevent them getting caught, but not enough to encourage loitering.

Unfortunately this doesn't work out the front because it's not fenced.
