You joke about him, but I was watching a BBC news programmed that had two American observers, one a professor of American political history and another a former (Republican) adviser at the White House.  They both commented on how much Biden has achieved in his first year, which is echoed in this other report:

I merely mentioned that in spite of Batflu, he managed to grow the US economy which is more that the current management have achieved.

Although the anguished cries were nothing to when I mentioned that although the union has some negotiating power, I was struggling with the notion of financially supporting a political construct that I would not vote for.
