Never been in a burger king & the last McDonald's I had was about 3 years ago, to be honest we'd rather make our own with plenty of fried onions.

Same here. Swmbo makes her own burgers and they are delicious. Rarely eat take away food and dont eat out much, as the food at home is much nicer and cheaper.
Swmbo needs a break once in a while though, so once or twice a year I take her out.  :D

Burger King has been taken to court somewhere, probably America, on the grounds that their Whopper isn't really a Whopper!  ;D

The Whoppers are certainly smaller than they were. I remember when it was a real challenge to finish a double whopper, and a single one was a decent meal. Now you can inhale either in about 30s flat and still be peckish. ;D

Perhaps you're bigger than you used to be? ::)

Significantly so. ;D

But that's not the yardstick I use when comparing burgers.

I used to enjoy a Burger King whopper, but they seem to be pre-pared and microwaved now.

Back in the Y2K hysteria days, when I was doing 7 days a week, 18hrs a day, work would cover some of my meals costs.

So luchtime was often a double whopper meal, with another double whopper on the side, and evening meal would consist of something like Pizza Hut's meal for 2 for me....

I think during that year or so, The ratio between burger size and my size might have changed ;D

I see Burger king, KFC and MacDonalds and the like as a "snack" not a substitute for a proper meal  :P
unless you order several "meals" , as Jamie eludes too   ;D
by the time you've queued and waited, you've expended any energy/sustenance you get from the "meal"
so I don't bother  :D

I don't think the kids do now. They park in  the carpark, order on the app, its delivered to their space, and when finished, unwind the window and chuck the rubbish on the floor...
