MOT time
« on: 30 April 2013, 16:12:22 »

I got my 99 3.0 elite estate in June last year and I put it into storage in Sept until today, as I have been working in France. I then put it in for it's MOT today and all that was needed was 1 tyre which i knew about anyway....what a result and really pleased after seeing what can happen to these cars at MOT time. Decided to put 4 new tyres on at same time as all the tyres are different makes when i got it and was waiting for the right time to sort it. I wont open the most common can of worms and ask for advice on which tyres to get and will read through the 2.5 million previous postings on this subject !!!!! lol. What a car and keep the faith  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well done, adey, it's such a good feeling and driven mine back home today after 4 new tyres and I'd forgotten how good it feels to be behind the wheel of my silver beast......here's to a good summer. I ended up getting 4 x nankang noble sport tyres at £65 a corner and they did feel good coming home, but a more demanding drive to Stoke and back tomorrow will tell me more. :D :D
