Bloody hell! They're normally a bugger to get off! It's made of 2 bits bonded together with rubber, is it the whole thing that's fallen off or has the rubber disintegrated allowing the outer bit to fall off?
Sorry, no idea if they're all the same, but a scrap yard in Bolton had a 2.2 diseasal in a few months back ..... CpnZok will know it's name I can't remember - Campbells? :-/

I'll try to remember to home passed it & get a name/number  ;)

thanks for that,
the rubber broke up allowing the pulley to for off.
reading up on the net it seems common,
ebay have them at over a £120 i think i`d rather get a new one as the same thing may happen to a 2nd hand one.
i`m hoping its just the one big bolt holding it on.

Sorry; it's not the one big bolt.

There are six bolts that you need to remove (on my 2.5 anyway, not sure if your's is different though)

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

i`ve just been outside and is does look like just the one bolt and checked the haynes book for the 2.2 dti vectra and it shows one, managed to find a new pulley at under £80 so may go for that
