I think they will get a majority but a small one. We shall see.

Wont happen Im afraid. The Tories deserve to lose and they are going to.
They need to either disband the party altogether or reinvent the party as a real conservative and unionist party.
Lots of votes for Reform will make the second option a lot more likely.
Most Reform voters would vote for a modern version of a Thatcherite Tory party if it existed.

Headlamp sanding, polishing and lacquering. Not mine, OH's grandmother's clit. Hopefully the old dear will be able to see where she's going now!  ;D

Wifes nephew is restoring one of those. He has been at it for a few years because he is an absolute perfectionist.
From what I saw of it last year it will be a lot better than a new one from a showroom in 1990 when its finished.
He has a split screen VW camper he restored which has to be seen to be believed.
His day job is doing the electrics on cars being converted into Police cars.
The VW camper has everything internal, operated by remote control - tv popping up, bed folding up / down etc.

Taxed the Boxster for 6 monhs. £189.75. Outrageous !  ::)

S/L  should be easy to spot. A little valve on the side of each one for the pipes to connect to, and a thick bladder which inflates when air is pumped in.

Republic of Ireland have a fickin cheek trying to send them back to the north, its almost unbelievable.
They kicked up a hell of a stink to make sure there would be no border on the island of Ireland, and then spit their dummy at the result of it.
They were extremely happy to help the EU stitch up the Brits any way they could during the Brexit process and now want to do this.
You really couldnt make it up.
Even if they did deport them, there is nothing whatsoever to stop them from just walking back across the border.  ;D
Personally, I think the migrants will probably just hide there for a while until Labour win the election.
Then they can go back up to the North and then over to England.  >:(

Dont suppose his replacement will be much better though.  ::)

If your going to remove the S/L dampers, I could be interested in them if they are reasonably useable.  :y
If you do that you must change from S/L spec springs. They are far too soft to stay on the car with normal spec dampers.
As mentioned above, rear springs are a bit of a nightmare to get right. The ones currently on the rear of my car have the rear sitting too high.
I seem to remember Doc Gollum recommending Kielen heavy duty for the rear, so will probably investigate that option when I get around to it.

I received a large questionnaire in the post yesterday from Essex County Council.
Apparently my household has been chosen to do this in order to " help shape the future of Essex."  ::)
Im looking forward to filling it in, but well aware it wont make a blind bit of difference.
Its just so they can claim to consult residents / voters, take their views into account etc. etc.  ::)
