Just looked on BBC website this morning and viewed the progress on this field hospital built in just 9 days.

Truly stunning achievement and when you look at the facilities each compartment has it is truly worldclass, and puts other countries to shame.Hope none of us will require its services but am certain if needed you would get the best possible care .

Very proud of what has been done and hope that it saves many lives in the coming weeks.
Its kept my lot busy and out of mischief for a few thankful days.  You can imagine young idle hands and silly pranks that are now becoming tedious ;D

Don't know about the rest of the country, but folk around here seem to have behaved very well. Went for a walk up Grimethorpe muckstack (Sounds nice, don't it) earlier, and saw two people with dogs. Very little traffic too.
Unlike Australia where, apparently, the beaches in certain areas were very busy.

Talking about dogs, I can see no other option than to get the hair clippers out soon.  :o

Yes, talking about dogs;  they are far more numerous in the field of a park next to our homes than humans.

Looks like some owners are just releasing them for their walks! ;D ;D ;)

A fantastic way to ensure the spread the cull virus
cough all over your dog ,rub it all in by stroking it and let it free to roam/spread to others  :y
we'll have this over- population problem licked in no time  :)

Just got in from our dog walk hardly anyone around, took a different route home past our local recreation field no kids about just another couple walking their dog, all the playground equipment was locked off almost a fortnight ago. Just hope Hunstanton & Skegness was as quiet that's where most folk from this area tend to go if the weather is good.

Just seen pictures on our local ITV news of the crowds down on Brighton seafront, with even a couple having a barbeque!!

The thick, and therefore the dangerous, are really out there! >:( >:(

It's the mountains of slag built up over many, many years and landscaped once the mines closed.

Many years ago, Phil. The lad went with school a while back too. Scary when you go down and see the working conditions, I would recommend a visit to anyone who is in the area.

Also scary as regards working conditions and mine access - visited last year. Use of man engines.
