Omega General Help / Re: Brainer!
« on: 19 August 2015, 19:43:08 »
I don't believe that MAF sensor is faulty, I have tried another one, readings were the same.
It's very strange that voltage continues to rise after 262 kg/h which happens just under 4.000 RPM. They should rise together. RPM continues to rise, same as voltage, but air is stuck at 262 kg/h. And i think that 262 kg/h is too little for 2.6 engine. Is it?

Omega General Help / Re: Brainer!

Hi and thanks!
They are both working properly. Tested with "My Naff Code Reader" again, just to be positive. Also checked visually. Looking live data i can see that ecu is sending command to open as it should, depending on RPM and load.

Can any one tell me what should be readings for 2.6 V6 MAF sensor?
And I do not think it is the normal for throttle to go to INVALID position.

Omega General Help / Brainer!
« on: 18 August 2015, 14:38:12 »
Hello!
This is my first post on my first forum, ever!
Few months ago, i bought Omega 2.6 v6 auto. Some small issue that i have fixed and one real brainer! Car runs relatively ok, but bit slow for 180 hp. I bought diagnostic tool with live data and now i see some strange readings.
1. Maf sensor stops at 262 kg/h and 3.5 v but voltage (and RPM) continues to rise to 4.1 v! At idle 12kg/h 1.35v, rises normally till 262 kg/h. Same readings with another maf. How is it posible that V rise and kg/h do not?
2. As i press throttle pedal, throttle position readings goes from idle to partial load and then to invalid position. After pressing throttle more than 21-22% it goes to invalid. Both TP sensors have normal values. Same for APP sensors. Throttle body cleaned and it opens fully. Calculated throttle position goes normaly from 0-100%.
3. Relative engine load newer goes over 20%.

That is it!
O2 readings are ok, no check engine light, no limp mode, compression test 13-14 bar.... Car have LPG, readings are same on both fuel.
I'm waiting timing tool kit to arrive and check timing but doubt because engine idle and runs smooth.
Any idea?
Please!
