Correction. 91000 miles not 97.
Anyway, its now on the back burner now. The French plastic piece of crap, shat itself on the way home from work this morning.  ::)
Oil seals in the turbo let go.

can you buy a core or second hand one ? or is it expensive ?

Seems to be plenty of cheap second hand ones on ebay. Hoping to find a mid priced, low mileage one with a bit of a warranty from a breaker.
No point paying£30 for one and then having to do the job again when its no better than the one that came off.
New or even recon ones are probably more than the car is worth.
I knew I shouldnt have bought a car built by lazy French Communists.  ::)

You sound just like swmbo. Although she would favour scrapping the Omega, flogging the Boxster and keeping the contraption.  ::)
