Needs a 24v in it, only a real geek would restore a 12v properly.

the lump alone would be 10 grand from the states  :o
there's better engines to spend that sort of dollar on now
sticking an LC block in a 12v GSi does not an LC make  :P

Ok, forget the LC lump,  what about a nice 8.3ltr V10 viper motor with a pair of BW EFR 8474 hanging off it. 🌪🌪

dump the 12v boat anchor and put in a nice light c20LET 4 banger in
200 HP is enough to waft about in an old barge

the rust holes in the body provide enough airflow to the driver on the one day a year that the UK is warm  ;)
Carltons are not race cars ,they are family saloons
and i'm NOT knocking Carltons, I drove them as a daily for 20 years  8)
in fact it's pretty much 3 years to the day since I sent my last Carlton off to Ireland for retirement

.......... no tin worm worries on the body.

You're still going to need to be good at welding though to build a chassis etc from scratch   :o

not sure how you would get on trying to get a log book either as i imagine the vin and therefore the title would go with the chassis  :-\

Someone has been watching many US 'movies'/TV series.  ::)

The reinforcing plates imbedded in the GRP will still rust & blow through

sorry your honour  :-[

I've made a p155 poor attempt at trying to correcting it  :P

GRP ,much like an Omega owner ,gets old ,brittle and crusty with time anyway  :D

the fingerprints in the paint from where "Tamuff youfffs" pushed it off the production line  :-\   :P
