Hats off to Kevin Wood... Its the motor in the drivers door lock...

Dont ask me why changing the battery set it off. As I'm sure you're all aware. Vauxhalls are rife with such mysteries...

Its fixed... The central lock motor in the drivers door is screwed through two elongated holes. I fastened the motor at the longest point so the motor gets full extension in its unlocked position... So far so good.

Mine is still doing it. Put a new battery on today but I thought about the wiring between the drivers door and body .  With the car unlocked I wiggled the wiring loom and the doors locked. So I think there's a connection problem there somewhere !!

Known to chafe there on occasions, sounds like some inspection/repair needed :)

Hi mate.  Since I put the brand new battery on after a couple of days it's sorted itself out.  I now have fully working central locking and no buzzing noises..... The system seems to have reset itself  :y
